This means you can receive coordinated care between and among your physicians to maintain your overall health.

We offer customized hearing aid solutions that feature top-tier brands like Resound or Starkey. With many advanced options like Bluetooth connectivity and rechargeable batteries, our devices enhance hearing and convenience. Some newer hearing aids can even be connected via Bluetooth to your phone, television, or other devices to have sound fed directly into your hearing device. Every hearing aid is created to suit your unique hearing profile and lifestyle to ensure optimal comfort and performance. The newest hearing aids today are Low Energy Bluetooth enable which allow for connection to Auracast devices in the future.

Living with tinnitus, a constant or persistent ringing or buzzing in the ears, can be challenging, but finding relief is possible. Our certified tinnitus specialists use strategies proven to work overtime, like sound therapy or hearing aids with built-in tinnitus relief. Finding relief for something that does not yet have a cure is key. Personalized treatment plans help reduce tinnitus-related stress and improve your life. There may not be a cure, but there is help. In some situations, simply treating any hearing loss present will help provide some added relief.

When traditional hearing aids are not the right option, cochlear implants may provide a life-altering alternative. We provide everything from comprehensive pre-surgical evaluations to determine if implants are right for you, to referring patients to hospitals for surgery and post-operative activation, mapping, and long-term support.

Ohio Audiology Associates is a proud TriCare credentialed provider and part of the Community Care Network provider. We offer specialized audiology services for active military servicemen and women, veterans and their families. Our team assists with the TriCare/VA referral process to ensure you have a seamless, calm experience setting up appointments. Eligible veterans can gain access to hearing evaluations, hearing aids, and follow-up care that is covered under the TriCare/VA benefits umbrella as available through their insurance plan.

Top hearing aid performance over time requires necessary and regular maintenance. Our in-office services include deep cleaning, wax guard replacement, and receiver replacement. For the more complex issues, we coordinate with the manufacturer for repairs so that you can hear your best as soon as possible. We want to make sure you are always hearing and feeling your best, even if a repair is needed.

Hearing protection is vital for those exposed to high noise levels at work, home, or while enjoying entertainment. We offer specialized solutions for those with different levels of exposure, like industry workers, hunters, musicians, race car drivers, or pilots. Our selection includes Starkey SoundGear electronic hearing protection options, musician plugs and cost-effective custom silicone molds. Our vast array of solutions can help reduce the damage done by harmful noise exposure over time.

Ohio’s new insurance coverage for pediatric hearing aids means that more families have access to essential hearing health care. We are supportive of parents as they navigate insurance claims and select the best hearing aids for their children. Early intervention benefits speech and language development, and we ensure children receive properly fitted devices and support. If we are not able to help your child, we will make appropriate referrals if necessary.

Excessive earwax or skin accumulation is not only uncomfortable, it can be damaging in severe cases. Our licensed professionals use safe removal techniques, like lighted curettes, suction, and/or water flushing. This will carefully remove any excess wax or skin buildup to help your hearing and allow for a healthy ear canal. While this service is not often covered by insurance, it is available with private pay.

Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) is a medical emergency that will require immediate attention. The earlier that SSNHL is treated, the better the prognosis. We can provide urgent testing and, if appropriate, recommend to your physician steroid treatment to improve your chances of recovery or referrals to ENT for prompt appointments.
