CERTIFICATE IN TINNITUS MANAGEMENT
Get to know our Audiologist, Dr. Overcasher. She is an Ohio native who became interested in hearing health while studying Speech, Language Pathology and Audiology at The University of Akron. She received her AS in Legal Assisting, a BA in Speech, Language Pathology and Audiology and a Doctorate in Audiology all from The University of Akron. Dr. Overcasher completed her internship at The VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and the Ohio Academy of Audiology (OAA). She obtained her certificate for tinnitus management through the American Board of Audiology.
Dr. Overcasher is a member of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Stark County Farm Bureau. Dr. Overcasher’s extensive experience makes her an expert in audiological evaluation, hearing aid fitting and troubleshooting as well as cerumen (ear wax) removal.
As a life-long Stark County resident, Dr. Overcasher is excited to serve the residents of her community in their journey to better hearing.
Meet our Audiologist, Dr. Megan Annis! Dr. Annis received her Bachelor’s degree of Science (B.S.) in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Sociology from Kent State University and her Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed her internship at Ohio Head and Neck Surgeons in Canton, OH. and previously worked for Centers for Hearing Care in Youngstown, OH. Dr. Annis is a member of the Ohio Academy of Audiology (OAA) and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She also participated in a hearing mission trip to Guatemala with Entheos Audiology Cooperative and Woodland Public Charities in 2017 and in Center for Hearing Care’s Hearing for the Holidays Local Hearing Mission in 2019. Her passion is helping people hear better, so they can enjoy their passions too. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cat (Cooper), and going wine tasting.
